Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, where you will be greeted by our representative, holding a sign with your name on it. The representative will escort you to your hotel, where you can settle in and rest after your travels. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you, please.
Day 2 : Delhi City Tour
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast, and then explore Old and New Delhi. Visit memorials to prominent figures such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Indira Gandhi at Rajghat, Shanti Van, and Shakti Sthal, respectively. Marvel at the magnificent Red Fort, a fortification constructed by Shah Jahan along the riverfront, and visit Jami Masjid, the largest mosque in the world, also built by Shah Jahan. Enjoy a lunch break at a reputable nearby restaurant.Later, visit the Qutub Minar, a towering Islamic landmark constructed by Qutbruddin Albak, and admire the Iron Pillar, a mysterious structure from the fourth century still in perfect condition. See the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the residence of the President of India, and take in the beauty of the Rajpath and India Gate, a World War I memorial arch.For the devout Hindu, visit the holy Laxmi Narayan Temple, and for a modern architectural marvel, see the Bahai Lotus Temple. The recently built Akshardham Temple, on the riverbed, is a respectful and magnificent work of architecture. Shop at Chandni Chowk, a shopping destination for locals. Return to your hotel in the evening after a day filled with adventure. Spend the night in Delhi.
Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur by Train
Start your day early with a pickup by our driver, who will take you to the New Delhi train station to catch a train to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will be met by another driver and transported to your hotel. Take a break and relax in your room, or spend the afternoon exploring the markets of Jaipur. End the day with an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4 : Jaipur City Tour
Begin your day with breakfast and embark on a city tour of Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort, a romantic fort palace located outside the city, built on a hillside by Maharaja Man Singh in the 16th century and finished by Jai Singh.Explore the nine squares of Jaipur, each dedicated to a different deity of wealth, and visit various landmarks within the city, such as the Hawa Mahal, a five-story structure built in 1799, the Jantar Mantar observatory, the Albert Hall Museum, the Ram Niwas Gardens with a zoo and crocodile farm, the Gaitor cenotaphs of the king and queen, the Sun Temple at Galta, and the Vidyadhar's Garden or the Sisodia Rani Palace & Gardens with its mural-decorated walls. Return to your accommodation in the evening and spend another night in Jaipur.
Day 5 : Jaipur - Agra by Train
Enjoy a relaxing day after breakfast. In the evening, you will be driven to the Jaipur train station to catch a train to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, you will be picked up and transported to your accommodation for an overnight stay in Agra.
Day 6 : Agra - Delhi by Train
After a hearty breakfast, see the beautiful Taj Mahal, considered the world's eighth wonder. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan constructed the iconic structure to symbolize love and devotion to his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal.Next, you will visit the Agra Fort, a significant UNESCO World Heritage Site and former royal residence of the Mughal emperors. Then, take a trip to the tomb of Akbar in Sikandra, which was started during his lifetime and completed by his son Jehangir in 1613.You will have the opportunity to go to the local marke ts of Agra, and later in the evening, you will be transferred to the train station to head back to Delhi. Once you arrive in Delhi, our driver will drop you off at your hotel, where you will spend the night. If you desire, a visit to the historical city of Fatehpur Sikri can be arranged during the tour.
Day 7 : Transfer to Airport
Your tour of India's Golden Triangle comes to an end here. This morning after having breakfast, you'll be transported to either the airport or train station for your onward journey.
